George M Walling

George Walling enlisted with the 28th New York as Private in Company E in May 1861 and was discharged for disability in August of the same year at Berlin, Maryland.
He is buried at Boughton Hill Cemetery in Victor, Ontario County, NY. Within the cemetery he is buried about 12 rows from the front in the middle section.
His grave marker reads:

Co E. 28, N.Y. Vol Inf
Died May 26 1885
Aged 43 Years.
Within the same cemetery is also buried his brother, James Walling, and family.
