At age 18, Lucius Stickney enlisted as a Private in Company A, 28th NY. He was discharged for disability at New Market, Va., on May 26th, 1862.
Mr. Stickney is buried at Alabama Cemetery in Alabama, Genesee County, NY along with his wife.
His headstone reads as follows:
LUCIUS STICKNEY
Co. A. 28 N.Y [Broken]
Died June 28 [Broken]
Aged 57 Y [Broken]
The right hand side of the stone is split away and lost.
His wife’s marker stone reads as follows:

Within the cemetery they are buried towards the rear, maybe two rows away from the maintenance building.
