Oscar H. Palmer | ||||||||||||||
Oscar Palmer enlisted in Company B of the 28th NY, at the age of 32 on September 20th, 1862. As a result he would have signed a three year enlistment and, when the regiment mustered out of service in June 1863, he was initially transferred to the depot at Albany, NY and may have been reassigned to the 60th NY Infantry. | ||||||||||||||
He is buried at Cold Springs Cemetery in Lockport, Niagara County, NY along with his wife. | ||||||||||||||

Cold Springs is a large sprawling cemetery with graves from the early history of Lockport through to the modern day. The Palmer plot is located towards the north west corner near the railroad tracks. They are very close to the plot of William Wirt Bush. | ||||||||||||||
