Phillip Murphy enlisted with Company B of the 28th in May 1861 and served as Corporal through to November 1862. He was wounded at Cedar Mountain and was discharged for disability as a result of his wounds on November 3, 1862. | ||||||||||||||
He is buried at Cold Springs Cemetery, Lockport, Niagara County, NY. | ||||||||||||||
