Amos K Welsher | ||||||||||||||
Amos Welsher enlisted with Company C as Private in May 1861 and was promoted to Corporal in June 1862. He was left as a nurse at Culpeper, Va and was captured. He was paroled in October 1862 and served through to June 1863. | ||||||||||||||
He is buried at Central Cemetery, Hartland, Niagara County, NY along with his wife, Nettie. They are buried towards the back of the cemtery, on the right of the main track as you approach the maintenance buildings at the back of the cemtery. | ||||||||||||||

He is buried very close to two other men who served with the 28th NY along by the railroad tracks which run along the northern edge of the old section of the cemetery. | ||||||||||||||
