At age 18, Lucius Stickney enlisted as a Private in Company A, 28th NY. He was discharged for disability at New Market, Va., on May 26th, 1862. | ||||||||||||||
Mr. Stickney is buried at Alabama Cemetery in Alabama, Genesee County, NY along with his wife. | ||||||||||||||
His headstone reads as follows: | ||||||||||||||
LUCIUS STICKNEY Co. A. 28 N.Y [Broken] Died June 28 [Broken] Aged 57 Y [Broken] | ||||||||||||||
The right hand side of the stone is split away and lost. | ||||||||||||||
His wife’s marker stone reads as follows: | ||||||||||||||
MARY E. Wife of Lucius Stickney 1870 - 1934 | ||||||||||||||
Within the cemetery they are buried towards the rear, maybe two rows away from the maintenance building. | ||||||||||||||
