Thomas Willis Raymond | ||||||||||||||
Thomas Raymond enlisted as Musician in Company G, 28th New York in May 1861. He was promoted to Corporal on January 5th 1862. He was captured at the Battle of Cedar Mountain on August 9th 1862 and was paroled on September 13th 1862. He was promoted again to Sergeant on February 28th 1863 and then mustered out with the regiment on June 3rd, 1863. | ||||||||||||||
Mr. Raymond is buried at Mount Albion Cemetery in the town of Albion, Orleans County, New York. | ||||||||||||||

The cemetery has a small Civil War section to the west of the cemetery. Entering the cemetery from Rt31, through the gate nearest to Albion, the Civil War monument is almost immediately on the left side of the road. | ||||||||||||||
