Emory Hilton was born in 1839 and, at age 22, enlisted in Company K, 28th NY, as a Private. He served with the 28th New York for the two year duration of his service and was mustered out on June 2nd 1863. He died on November 6th 1890. | ||||||||||||||
Mr. Hilton is buried at the Bath National Cemetery attached to the Veterans Hospital in Bath, Steuben County, NY. | ||||||||||||||
His marker stone is located at Section C, Row 14, Site 2 and reads: | ||||||||||||||
