William P. Field

William Field enlisted as a Private in Company A, 28th NY on 26th August 1862. He was discharged, for unknown reasons, on March 13th 1863 at Stafford Court House, Va., by order of the Secretary of War.

Mr. Field is buried at Cold Springs Cemetery along with his Wife and possibly his Daughter in Law.

His marker stone reads as follows:

WILLIAM P. FIELD Died Dec. 11, 1889 Aged 62 Yrs.

His Wife’s marker stone reads:

ANN E. Wife of Wm. P. Field Died July 21 1889 Aged 67 Yrs.

Also buried there is:

LODEMIA A. SULT Wife of Wm. G. Field 1868 - 1907

They are buried in section B, Plot 68 which is located close to the corner of Chestnut and Locust Avenue.
