Henry Coleman | ||||||||||||||
Henry Coleman was born in 1835 and, when war broke out, enlisted in Company G, 28th NY, as Corporal. He was promoted to Sergeant on 2nd July 1861 and, on 25th February 1863, was promoted to 1st Sergeant of Company G. He mustered out with the regiment on June 2nd 1863. | ||||||||||||||
He died at the Veterans Hospital in Bath, NY on 1st November 1890 and is buried at the Bath National Cemetery. | ||||||||||||||
He is buried at Section B, Row 1, Site 54 and his marker reads: | ||||||||||||||
