At age 21, Henry Burk enlisted as a Private in Company B, 28th NY, on May 4th 1861. He mustered in with the regiment on May 22nd. He served with the regiment for the duration of the service of the regiment and mustered out on June 2nd, 1863. | ||||||||||||||
Mr. Burk is buried at Cold Springs Cemetery, Lockport, NY in the military section of the cemetery. | ||||||||||||||

Cold Springs is a very well maintained, but very large cemetery. Within the military section of the cemetery, he is about three rows back from the flag pole. | ||||||||||||||
