Lucian R Bailey (Seen as Lucius on the roster) is buried at Elmwood Cemetery in Batavia, Genesee County NY. He enlisted with Company F as 1st Sgt and was promoted to 2nd Lt before being mustered out in June 1863. He was also wounded at the Battle of Cedar Mountain. | ||||||||||||||

Elmwood Cemetery has a narrow front to Harvester Street in Batavia, but continues for some distance back. Unfortunately, this visit was early in the project when few details were taken of the exact burial location. | ||||||||||||||
