James Orr enlisted as Private in Company G, 28th NY on May 8, 1861 and mustered in service with the regiment on May 22, 1861. He served with the 28th NY until Sepember 30, 1861, at which time he deserted at Darnestown, Maryland. | ||||||||||||||
