Henry Logan enlisted as Private in Company A of the 28th NY. However, on May 10, 1862, he was admitted to hospital with a fever. On May 21, 1862, he was transferred to Philadelphia, where he was discharged the same day. He obviously recovered, but is not believed to have reenlisted. | ||||||||||||||
He is buried in North Ridge Cemetery in Cambria, Niagara County, NY in section 1b-041. He shares a grave marker stone with his wife, Mary, which reads as follows: | ||||||||||||||

Within the cemetery, he is buried in section 1b. While the cemetery does not appear to be totally self-intuative with regards to the numbering system, about half way between the entrance and the first right turn, Henry and his wife and buried on the left hand side. | ||||||||||||||
