Leroy Kenyon | ||||||||||||||
On May 6th, 1861, Leroy Kenyon enlisted as a Private in Company D, 28th NY. He was 20 years old. He was wounded in action at Cedar Mountain on August 9th, 1862. His wounds were such that he was discharged for disability at Port Monroe, Va., on November 17th 1862. | ||||||||||||||
He died less than six years later, on September 12th, 1868 and is buried at Somerset Cemetery, Somerset, Niagara County, NY. | ||||||||||||||
