Charles H. Fenn

Charles Fenn enlisted as Captain of Company F on May 4th, 1861, age 27 years. He served as Acting Brigade Inspector, 1st Brigade, 1st Division, 12th AC from March 5th, 1863 and mustered out with the regiment on June 2nd, 1863.
Mr. Fenn was the officer who presented the regiments flags, made by the ladies of Batavia, at Muddy Branch on November 1861.
He is buried in Mount Hope Cemetery in Rochester, Monroe County, NY along with a number of his family members.
His marker stone reads:

The Fenn plot contains a lot of members of the family whose relationship is unknown to Charles Fenn. The entire family plot is located in Section I, Lot 17, which is in the hilly older section of the cemetery. Within this section, the plot is towards the top of the hill.
