John Curran enlisted as Private of Company G, 28th NY in May 1861. He was promoted to Corporal in February 1862 and promoted again, to Sergeant, in December 1862. He mustered out with the regiment on June 2nd 1863. | ||||||||||||||
He is buried at Mount Albion Cemetery in Albion, Orleans County, NY. It's a huge cemetery. | ||||||||||||||
