James Franklin Bush enlisted with Company B of the 28th New York in May 1861 as Sergeant. He served through to June 1863. However, he appears to have been reduced in rank to Private in Jan 1863. | ||||||||||||||
He is buried along with his brother, Captain William Wirt Bush of the 28th, at Cold Springs Cemetery, Lockport, Niagara County, NY. | ||||||||||||||
Mr. Bush is buried at the Cold Springs Road end of the cemetery by the railroad tracks which run along the northern edge of the cemetery. | ||||||||||||||
