Wright Boodger | ||||||||||||||
Mr. Boodger was born in 1839 and on April 20th 1861, at age 22, enlisted in Company B of the 28th New York as a Private. When the Union retreated after the defeat at the Battle of Cedar Mountain he was captured at Culpeper Court House, on August 18th 1862. However, he was immediately paroled and rejoined the regiment. He was promoted to Corporal on 10th November 1862 and mustered out with the regiment on June 2nd 1863. | ||||||||||||||
Wright Boodger died at the Veterans Hospital in bath and is buried at the Bath National Cemetery in Bath, Steuben County, NY. | ||||||||||||||
He is buried at Section J, Row 30, Site 13. His grave marker reads: | ||||||||||||||
