Events Sponsored by the 28th New York The following are Civil War Reenactment events which the 28th New York Volunteer Infantry Regiment, Company E, are event sponsors. Fire on the Genesee, Letchworth State Park, NY. The Fire on the Genesee Event is held annually overlooking Letchworth Gorge, at Highbanks recreation area. The extensive camp includes living history activities throughout the course of the weekend, drill sessions and public displays, a dance on Saturday evening and battles on Saturday and Sunday.
