William Robinson

William Robinson enlisted with the 28th New York in May 1861 as Private. However, he only served through to July 24, 1861 at which time he was discharged for disability at Washington, DC.
He is buried at Corwin Cemetery, Newfane, Niagara County, NY. When the cemetery was visited, a William Robinson was found and his gravestone photographed. It shows him as being born in 1813; however, based on the regimental enlistment papers, he was 35 in 1861, meaning that he should have been born in 1826. It's quite possible that this is the wrong person. We need to make a trip to the county geneological society for confirmation.
Whether or not this is the correct William Robinson, the stone reads:
Wm. Robinson
1813 - 1899
1814 - 1904
