| Benjamin Frazer enlisted in company E of the 28th New York at Canandaigua and he died of disease, age 23, on October 21st 1861. | ||||||||||||||
| He is buried at West Avenue Cemetery in Canandaigua, Ontario County, NY. The cemetery is in a poor state of repair with many stones toppled or broken. However, the markers of the members of the 28th New York are all intact. | ||||||||||||||

| Mr Frazer is buried in the West 2 section of the cemetery. From the main entrance, West 2 is on the left side between the first and second side-roads. Within that section, Benjamin Frazer is almost at the extreme west end of the cemetery. | ||||||||||||||
